2 Channel 5V Relay Module with Optocoupler
- This is a 2 Channel 5V Relay module. It is an Optoisolated module, which means the input of the module can operate from on a supply other than the one used by the module. It is useful in high load and high noise environment. The operating Voltage of the module is 5V. It needs a 5V supply for relay operation.
- The 2 Channel 5V Relay module has a jumper to select the use of optoisolation. If the jumper is used between JD-VCC and VCC pins than the module does not provide opto-isolation and will use the same supply for optocoupler trigger and relay trigger. Whereas, if the Jumper is removed, than the supply for optocoupler trigger can be given separately, which the IN1 and IN2 will be using, and the supply for relay trigger needs to be different, which needs to be connected with Vcc and GND.
- The module has 3 outputs per relay, Normally Open, Common and Normally Closed. The inputs of the module are low triggered, that is it will activate relay when the input signal is low. The module has LEDs for indication of relay operation.
